The African Union Mission in Somalia – AMISOM has developed a document that will provide an effective framework for the gradual hand over of security responsibilities to the Somalian security agencies.
The document gives a guide on the final phase of the exit plan for the AU mission and the Kenya Defense Force in Somalia .
Speaking during a 5-day meeting in Nairobi, AU special representative to Somalia, Francisco Madeira expressed optimism that the framework will deliver the intended results.
